We are delighted to announce that Carla MacLachlan, Director and Trade Mark attorney, has been elected to the APTMA Executive Council and appointed as Secretary at the most recent AGM.
APTMA is the Association of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys and represents virtually all registered Patent Attorneys and most Trade Mark Attorneys in Ireland. It protects the interests of companies, firms and persons engaged in the profession of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys, including Design Registration Attorneys in Ireland. It strives to improve and elevate the technical and general knowledge of persons in those professions and promote just and honourable practice in the conduct of business and to suppress malpractice.
Carla follows in the footsteps of Norman MacLachlan, Cliff Kennedy and Denis MacCarthy in taking a position on the Executive Council.
